With a firm commitment to the needs of all segments of
the South Florida community, the Florida Youth Orchestra
has established a concert series that focuses on elder
adults and their families. Free concerts are presented
at venues such as senior centers, assisted living
facilities and condominiums. Seniors are encouraged to
invite family members to this unique, multi-generational
experience, joining the young, elderly and the
in-between. A post-concert reception affords lively
social time, as audience members mingle with FYO's
musicians and staff.
 It's never too early to appreciate the world's most
beautiful music!
With this in mind, FYO offers a concert series for ages
2-12, primarily in under-served communities.
Performances are interactive, and include child-friendly
repertoire, take-home workbooks and a post-concert "Play
Pen", where youngsters can hold and play a vast array of
instruments on display for their use.
