Al Baruch was born in Barcelona in 1928. He came to the United States with his family in 1934 and resides in Tamarac. Al has spent much of his life as a cartoonist, most notably for Walt Disney Animations studios where he worked on "Peter Pan", Captain Hook and the Crocodile, and "Lady and the Tramp", Trusty and Jock. Following his work at Disney, his talents as a Design Cartoonist/Animator brought him to CBS where he developed "Casper the Ghost" and "Mighty Mouse". For many years, Al specialized as a political cartoonist and is a well renowned Holocaust artist. Amber Montes de Oca, a student protégé of Mr. Baruch, was involved in the decoupage.
