Violin: Music is a Gift (I)

Jacquie Montes de Oca was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Being brought up with many different cultures, including French, Hungarian and Venezuelan, she appreciates all kinds of music and art. For the past 10 years, Jacquie has been a volunteer, sharing arts and crafts in her daughters’ schools. At home she enjoys creating craft art work including painting on wood, glass, ceramic, sewing, etc. Jacquie resides in Weston with her teenage daughters, Amber and Jade. Her inspiration for this violin was to bring the visual arts and music together, and reflect how they bring happiness to those who see it and listen to it.
