- Instrument "Play Pen", where kids can hold, touch and play – with FYO musicians and staff to help them honk, bang, squeak and discover the joy of making music

With a firm commitment to the needs of all segments of
the South Florida community, the Florida Youth Orchestra
has established a concert series that focuses on elder
adults and their families. Free concerts are presented
at venues such as senior centers, assisted living
facilities and condominiums. Seniors are encouraged to
invite family members to this unique, multi-generational
experience, joining the young, elderly and the
in-between. A post-concert reception affords lively
social time, as audience members mingle with FYO's
musicians and staff.
